Album Cover Swede

I thought I would do the swede response to Bruno Mars' Album 'Doo-wops & Hooligans' because of its simple and bold artwork. I took a picture of my self and a paperplane I shaped up.
I used the Paint Bucket and Paint Brush tool to carefully fill the colour of the paperplane to be a black silhouette.
Also I used a Warp tool to slightly change the shape of the paperplane so it actually loks like its being used and flown about.
I used the Colour Replacement tool to colour in the white T-shirt, so it matches the colour of the beige road I am ''walking'' towards. I used the rubber and Magic Wand tool to erase any excess from the orginal photograph (for both of the pictures I took).
To create an back shadow of my figure, like the Bruno Mars ALbum Cover, I had to duplicate the ''layer'' and then use that layer to be blended in the 'Blending Option', from that list of options, I used the Colour Overlay to completed change the colour of picture of me into a plain darker beige shade like the original Album Cover. Then I used the 'Free Transform' option and rotated and manipulated the picture so it placed in line like the original.
This has taught me how important it is to make sure your Album Cover is visually eye catching and precise. there must not be any faults and look flawless and professinal, or else it might not be appealing to the specific audience/fans.
